Ice Age
Ice ages come every 11,500 years. A mega ice age comes every 105,000
years. Both are due between now and 2012. The 11,000 year cycle
happens because of increase and decrease of cyclical underwater
volcanic eruption. The 105,000 mega ice age happens because of the
changing shape of the orbit of the earth around the sun circular to
elliptical and then back to circular every 105,000 years. Scientists
have recently considered the possibility that the sequence we're now
in, as well as being part of the normal 11 year cycle, might also
mark the completion of a larger 11,500 or 100,000 year cycle. It is
clear that the earth experienced a disastrous event 10,000 years ago
literally wiping out civilization; and probably involving a major
crustal shift. That is also the approximate date ending the last
ice age. Could it be that the "ice age" ended because the polar ice
cap land masses were thrown down (or up) to the equator? Could it be
that the Mayan calendar, ending in 2012, was drawn to account for
this very recurring cycle of solar upheaval and polar shift?
History proves that a polar shift has happened many times before.
Recent scientific revelations confirm that Antarctica has been under
ice and snow for only about 10,000 years. Snow/thaw/freeze cycles
encapsulated in 2 mile thick ice core samples were once thought to
be annual rings, suggesting that ice has been there for 175,000
years. However, evidence from Greenland suggests otherwise. The
"Lost Squadron", American planes ditched on Greenland during WW2,
were found in 1986 under 267 ' of snow and ice. That's forty feet
per year. At that rate of deposit, Greenland may have been ice free
only 400 years ago. It certainly could have been ice free 10,000
years ago. Otherwise, why was it named "Greenland"? More
importantly, once a hole was melted down through the ice to recover
one of the lost planes, hundreds of those Antarctica-type "annual"
freeze-thaw cycles were observed. We now know that these rings
simply represent freeze/thaw cycles which could recur many times in
the space of a year, and several times in a single day! Stapleton's
Antarctica shack is now under 90' of snow and ice. At one foot per
year, that's only 11,000 years. Geologists know that Lake Titicaca
in Peru altered its lakebed by 30 degrees about 11,000 years ago.
Biblical history records the great flood around that time. The Great
Sphinx represents an advanced civilization pre-dating the age of the
Pharos in Egypt. More and more evidence points to a polar shift
around 8000 BC. And with three miles of pack ice built up on
Greenland, and 2 miles on Antarctica, it's simply got to be a real
consideration for our time line. If you want proof that glaciers and
the ice on Greenland and Antarctica are continuing to build up in
spite of "global warming"; or want to understand how underwater
volcanic activity at the poles may be melting the ice shelves; and
want to learn proof that the earth's magnetic field is weakening as
a precursor to a
polar
shift; and if you want to know why 17,000 scientists signed a
petition against the Kyoto protocol and urged governments to prepare
for inevitable earth changes being wrought by forces beyond our
control. You need to do your research, and not believe everything
you see on the news channels.
According to some geologists and scientists, we will be in the
middle of a deadly cycle when the ice age comes back. The start of
the cycle is marked with a
Polar
reversal,
super
volcanic activities,
massive earthquakes,
Tsunamis
and nasty
hurricanes. 11, 500 years back, the last ice age happened and
what we have started
experiencing – all happened. In the last one year the earth
experienced the largest
three earthquakes in the last two hundred years. The under water
volcanoes and earthquakes have gone up 88% over the last three
years. The continental earthquakes
have gone up by 62% during the same time frame. The rate of increase
of these
earthquakes and volcanoes when drawn against time is staggering. If
it is accurate and beyond dispute, we finally have a date we can
use. A definitive moment in time in which a global cataclysm may
have occurred. And an interesting puzzle for scientists that believe
everything happens gradually. A Danish ice drilling project has
conclusively ended the discussion on the exact date of the end of
the last ice age. The extensive scientific study shows that it was
precisely 11,711 years ago - and not the indeterminate figure of
‘some’ 11,000 years ago – that the ice withdrew, allowing
humans and animals free reign. “Our new, extremely detailed data
from the examination of the ice cores shows that in the transition
from the ice age to our current warm, interglacial period the
climate shift is so sudden that it is as if a button was pressed”,
explains ice core researcher Jørgen Peder Steffensen, Centre for Ice
and Climate at NBI at the University of Copenhagen.
As long as this research is not disputed, I shall be using the year
9703 BC as the
date for that cataclysm / crustal shift. This fits in very well with
Plato's date for the destruction of
Atlantis. He said it happened 9000 years before Solon (638
BC–558 BC), which is approximately 9600 BC. While it is possible
Plato meant precisely 9000 years, it is more likely he meant
roughly. Ice cores have shown that glaciers began to form on Mount
Kilimanjaro in 9700 BC. A quick search of Google shows evidence of a
cataclysm on that date (even though the authors didn't know it...)
Since the 105,000 cycle is overdue, the freeze can be real severe by
2012 and beyond.
Some Geologists believe that global warming is causing the freeze
because of manipulation of warm ocean currents and streams. The
manipulation has occurred for
many reasons. Global warming from human civilization is one reason.
But much more
serious is the cyclical increase in under ocean volcanoes and
stretched geysers over miles. Such an eruption has recently been
discovered in Indian Ocean stretching 45 miles releasing superheated
steam to 750 degree F. Because of this extra heat, the ocean is
evaporating. The resulting precipitation is forming the snow and
eventually ice. In the last ice age, Montreal in Canada was under a
mile or two of ice. NY was less than 400 feet of ice. The southern
US had no ice but had the weather of Canada with very often snow
fall.
With our current technology, our civilization will survive the
smaller cycle - the 11,500 year cycle that can produce a mini ice
age. Food will be scarce and much of the northern hemisphere will be
under deep ice with little life there. Serious migration
of population will take place from north to south. The terrestrial
civilization cannot survive the mega ice age that comes every
105,000 years. In that case the ocean levels will fall by 500 feet
on an average. The whole earth will be under deep ice.
How do we know if the ice age that is engulfing the earth is smaller
or the mega one?
Some geologists, astrophysicists and scientists believe if the mega
ice age is starting then certain parts of the world will be very
cold and under deep snow for a few years. At the same time many
parts of the world will experience very mild winter. El Nino which
is due in 2008-2009 can cause the mega ice age to come. A
super
volcano in Toba or Yellow Stone can also cause the mega ice age.
Earth's current orbit around the Sun suggests that any of these will
instantaneously (two months for example) put the earth into deep
freeze. Severe weather patterns that are taking hold of the earth
are not very good signs.
